Bingo Volunteers
SCMBA is a recipient of funds from the Delta Bingo Sponsors Association of St. Catharines, where the association receives funds from the proceeds of the Delta Bingo St Catharines location.
From April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, SCMBA received just over $20,000 for volunteering at Delta Bingo, which then went to the entire association, including our rep travel teams, to purchase equipment, baseballs, development, as well as to subsidize the cost of registration fees, fields, and uniform costs. These funds are vital to the continued success, development, and sustainability of the association.
To receive these funds we are required to volunteer twice a month (normally a Tuesday evening from 730pm to 930pm) or Sunday morning (930am to 1130am) all year round.
If we do not fully staff these sessions, SCMBA will be in danger of losing our share of the proceeds, which will have a direct negative impact on the association as a whole.
