Affiliations
Baseball is alive and well in the Niagara Region. Beyond the youth baseball Associations, such as SCMBA, there are numerous baseball organizations allowing players to continue to play, or watch their favourite pastime.
The following are some of the local Baseball Organizations that SCMBA is loosely affiliated with.
Senior Cobras (Niagara District Senior Men's League)
The St.Catharines Senior Cobras play in the Niagara Senior Baseball Loop. They play their home games out of George Taylor Field in St.Catharines.
Players are typically between the ages of 23-35. Anyone interested in playing for the Cobras should contact Coach Frank Iker.
Admission is FREE for those who would like to come out and watch the Senior Cobras play!

Niagara Metros (COBA Major League)
The Niagara Metros play in the COBA Major League, which consists of teams from around the Golden Horseshoe. This is also a senior-aged team, consisting of players aged 22+, but plays at a higher level than the local NDBA League. The Metros also play their home games out of George Taylor Field in St.Catharines. Anyone interested in playing for the Metros should contact General Manager Justin Ayles.

Welland Jackfish (Intercounty Baseball League)
Relatively new to Niagara after moving to Welland prior to the 2019 Season, the Welland Jackfish (formerly the Burlington Bulls) play in the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL). The Intercounty Baseball League was founded in 1919, and is the oldest amateur men's league in Canada. The Jackfish play their home games out of Welland Stadium in Welland.
Admission to Jackfish games is $8.00 for General Admission, and $10 for Reserved Seats (chairs w/backs).

Brock Badgers Baseball (Ontario University Athletics)
Brock Badgers Baseball plays in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) League against other Canadian Universities and Colleges. Their Regular Season runs in September-October, with a Spring (Exhibition) Schedule against some other Canadian Elite Teams, as well as against American University Teams. The Brock Badger Baseball program has won 2 Canadian Championships ('98, '99), and several OUA Championships ('02, '04, '10, '14). Welland Legends (MUNY - Buffalo Men's Senior Baseball League 35+/45+)
The Welland Legends play in the Buffalo Senior Baseball League, and are the only Canadian Team. These "old timers" can still play at a high level, and they participate in both a 35+ division, as well as a 45+ division. Their homes games are played out of Burger Park in Welland, while their away games are in Orchard Park, NY, and Cheektowaga, NY.
